Blog01 It Might As Well Be Spring
Some people ask where I get my inspiration. I was walking in the sleepy garden yesterday (it was unseasonably warm) and looked at my patch of lily of the valley, peeking out of the last weeks snow. To me, I immediately saw the oceans waves breaking on the sand delivering a gift of akoya pearls. The glistening of the sun sparkled on the snow like diamonds, and the patches of English Ivy (yellowed by the winter) with a fine layer of ice looked like yellow gold and carved jade leaves.
I now how my inspiration: The Spring 2012 the Lily of the Valley jewel collection. Sweet, tender blossoms of pearls accented with diamonds, set in platinum, and 18K yellow gold. A bouquet of gems holding a necklace of opalescent white pearls.
I look at nature and see jewels even at this time of year.

Happy New Year!
It's hard to believe that we are already two weeks into 2012! I hope that your year is glistening like diamonds, as comforting as pearls, and as precious as gold!
I am working in my studio on all sorts of new projects for Spring 2012. I'm going to be expanding my online site. Be sure to get on my mail list to be the first to be notified of my exclusive online creations. That's right - in 2012 I will be offering pieces that will not be available in any store.
I am looking forward to a beautiful, new year!
